Alex Yu is Board Member of Baring Private Equity. Mr. Yu is ba_sed in Shanghai and focuses on origination and due diligence of Greater China ba_sed investments for the Firm. Before that he was the Chief Representative of Prudential Securities, Shanghai office, focusing on the international financing of China related businesses.Before that, he worked in the corporate finance division of UBS and with J&A Securities in Shanghai as a Managing Director.Mr. Yu received his Masters Degree in World Economy from East China Normal University and his Bachelors Degree in Applied Physics from Fudan University. Mr. Yu was born in China and speaks fluent Mandarin and English.
